SMS Verification Codes: An even safer online banking experience

As part of our ongoing commitment to the security of our Members funds, we have implemented SMS Verification Codes, an easy-to-use service available to Internet and Mobile Banking users.

SMS Verification Codes are an extra level of security for Internet Banking and they are only required when performing the following functions:

Talk to us
  • Adding a new payee
  • Paying a new payee
  • Modifying an existing payee or payment
  • Updating your contact details
  • Updating or resetting your password details

The SMS Verification Code is a unique code which is sent to your nominated mobile number.

As part of our ongoing commitment to our Member’s security and safety we have introduced SMS Verification Codes as mandatory to our Internet Banking users.

What does this mean for you?

If you have a mobile phone number associated with your account, you will automatically be registered for SMS Verification Codes and you won’t need to do anything.

Should you not have a mobile phone number associated with your account, please contact us to discuss your options.

How does it work?

The SMS Verification Code creates a random temporary six digit code which is sent to your registered mobile phone number. You will be required to enter this six digit code into your Internet Banking session.

It is important that your mobile phone number is correct and always up to date.
